Vidama Filati was born in 1980 by the work of Alfredo Longo wich, after many years of experience made at the service of sewing threads sector multinationlas, feels the need to create a modern and efficient structure to serve the wide number of customers exsisting on the national field.
After fiew years with the entry of his sons Vittorio, Dario and Massimo, contributed to give more dash and new ideas at the company, with huge investments in modern machines and technologies and increasing the production with the built, in 2003, of the new factory in Marcianise, with ISO 9001-ISO 14001 certification.
In this growth scenery takes place the acquisition in 2005 of Sirteco srl located in Bologna that, with 2300 customers, 20 agents and deposits in many Italian regions, represents an historic and prestigious sewing threads brand.
This acquisition allows Vidama to extend the already wide number of customers, to obtain a more detailed diffusion on the national field and in foreign countries and place herself between the leading companies of the sector.
The number of products made are able to cover all the sewing needs: clothing, footwear, leatherworks, mattress companies, quilting companies and bookbinding up to the fodder, windmill and tobacco sectors.
The shipment of the products, thanks to a detailed distribution and agents network located in all the Italian regions, takes place in a fast and excellent way.
More than that in the clothing sector, Vidama Filati performs a trading activity for lining pockets made by polyester/cotton and 100% cotton with a wide and selected offer of goods.
